With summer in full bloom, I can’t think of a better way to utilize all these juicy mangoes than to make a vibrant, refreshing frozen cocktail. This is the kind of cocktail that’ll transport you to a tropical vacation. With lush palm trees, deep blue sea and crisp cool breeze. I’ve made quite a few frozen cocktails for my husband and I think this is his favorite by far. And I believe it’ll be yours when you try it too.
It’s super easy to make and only takes a few ingredients:
- 2 cups of Ice
- 1 cup of Frozen mango: Any store-bought mango will suffice. Or you can buy fresh mangoes and peel the skin. Cut up in cubes and freeze overnight.
- Juice of three limes: For some acidity
- 2 oz Triple Sec: You can also use Cointreau too
- ½ cup of Tequila: I prefer Reposado Tequila, but you can use any tequila of your choice
- 3 tbsp Agave: You can substitute with Honey Tajin: To rim your glass
- Mint: To garnish with.
Here’s how to make a Frozen Margarita
Step 1: Blend all the ingredients ie Ice, Frozen Mango, Lime Juice, Triple Sec, Tequila and Agave in a high powered blender.
Step 2: Rim your glass with agave and tajin.
Step 3.Pour the frozen margarita in the glass and garnish with a lime wheel and mint. Et voila! Enjoy. Cheers
